His own family affected by Alzheimer’s Disease, David is also committed to the fight to cure Alzheimer’s Disease. In 2007, David was named one of the Association’s official "celebrity champions" for the cause, taking hold of promotional and supportive responsibilities. In a recent survey, 82% of respondents said they would be most likely to make a donation when asked by a friend or family member or asked to attend a dinner party to raise money. David’s "Worlds Alzheimer’s Day" party planning kit is available as a resource for throwing a "Purple Party" to raise money for research for anyone supporting the cause through entertaining at home.
